Job description

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Assistant to support our dental company in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience in insurance verification, familiarity with dental terminologies, excellent organizational skills, and strong customer service abilities, and social media knowledge. This role will involve handling administrative duties, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional support to our team and clients remotely.

Responsibilities:

  1. Verify dental insurance coverage for patients and process claims.
  2. Maintain accurate records of insurance details and patient information.
  3. Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, uploading, and document management.
  4. Manage appointment scheduling and reminders for patients.
  5. Manage social media on idle time
  6. Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance via phone, email, or chat.
  7. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and scheduling.
  8. Assist in managing billing and payment processes.
  9. Conduct research on dental procedures, insurance policies, and industry updates.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned to support the dental team.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role, preferably in a dental setting.
  2. Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance verification processes.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Proficiency in administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and document management.
  6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Reliable internet connection and access to necessary software/tools for remote work.
  8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
