The Eclipse Foundation is home to more than 400 high-impact projects and collaborations, including Oniro, Adoptium, Software Defined Vehicle, Eclipse IDE, IoT, and Jakarta EE. Supported by over 350 members globally, the Eclipse Foundation has an established international reach and reputation.

The Oniro project is developing a distributed open source operating system for smart devices, delivering modularity, flexibility, and application portability across consumer and IoT devices—from tiny embedded sensors to advanced smart appliances. As a compatible implementation of OpenHarmony (hosted by the OpenAtom Foundation), Oniro bridges ecosystems, fostering collaboration among diverse organizations in a vendor-neutral, open environment. The Oniro Working Group, comprising members including Array, Bosch, Capgemini, Huawei, Linaro, NOI Techpark, and many others, drives technological innovation and commercial success across industries, guided by the Eclipse Foundation’s principles of transparency and openness.
