The Role Highlights

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the seamless and reliable deployment of software by optimizing infrastructure and managing cloud resources.
2. Drive scalability and performance by developing and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
3. Foster collaboration with development teams to integrate security best practices, improve system reliability, and continuously optimize DevOps processes.

A Day In Your Life:

Infrastructure Management:

• Establish, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software deployment.
• Develop and manage cloud resources, ensuring scalability, resilience, and efficient utilization using cloud platform (GCP, AWS).
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices architectures to support application growth and performance.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker to streamline deployment and ensure consistency across environments.

Collaboration and Strategy:

• Collaborate with the development team to streamline software releases.
• Define and implement strategies for backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Ensure the integration of security best practices in all DevOps processes.

Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and tools for potential issues or bottlenecks.
• Use logging and monitoring tools to identify and address performance metrics.
• Monitor infrastructure usage and implement cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient budgeting and resource allocation.
• Regularly conduct security audits and address vulnerabilities.

Research and Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks to optimize system processes.
• Continuously refine and evolve DevOps practices based on feedback and changing
• requirements.

Requirements

You’re the DevOps Engineer we’re looking for if you have:

• Have a minimum of 3 years as a DevOps Engineer
• Solid experience in managing Cloud Infrastructure
• Profound knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, such as Bitbucket pipelines
• Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of the Agile development life-cycle
• Proven ability in implementing and managing monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Knowledge of security best practices and implementing them in infrastructure setups
• Experience with Git, and familiarity with Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Proficient English communication
