Job description

Get to know Visual Components
Visual Components is a software company with a global footprint. We are here to help teams who are building tomorrow’s manufacturing find the fastest way from the concept to reality. With our inclusive and easy-to-use 3D simulation software companies can test their ideas in a virtual environment and get proof of concept before making investment decisions.

Our technology stack combines C++, C#, Microsoft technologies, and Python to power a sophisticated simulation platform. We're actively expanding our DevOps capabilities, building cloud infrastructure and automation tools that will scale with the growth of our product and customer base. We use Azure DevOps and cloud services, modern CI/CD practices, and containerization to deliver reliable and secure software.

As we expand our product, we are strengthening our DevOps practices - from automated builds and testing to deployment and monitoring. You will have the opportunity to shape our infrastructure development, implement new tools, and establish best practices that will become the foundation of our operations.

Our development teams use modern approaches to make the software reliable, efficient, and scalable. We work together in a collaborative environment where everybody can grow and make a real impact on the future of manufacturing.

Today, over 2400 pioneers worldwide rely on Visual Components software, from small local manufacturers to global automotive giants. Our headquarters are in Espoo, Finland, with additional offices in Indiana, USA; Munich, Germany; and Tokyo, Japan. Our diverse team, representing over 24 nationalities, and our extensive global partner network make Visual Components a truly international company.

You will be essential in implementing and maintaining the specific tools and processes that enable seamless software delivery and infrastructure management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work with development teams to align infrastructure with software requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Incident Response: Lead efforts to quickly identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and addressing vulnerabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement by adopting new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security.

The skills you will bring
