Kidney Clinical Technical Specialist

Paragonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Our devices incorporate clinically proven and medically trusted hypothermic preservation techniques in a novel suspension system to provide unprecedented physical and thermal protection. Our product portfolio spans cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal preservation devices to improve donor organ quality and extend donor organ transport time.  Paragonix also markets transplant services and organ screening to the transplant community. 

Position Overview:  To provide best in class customer service and support for Paragonix customers utilizing the Paragonix Product & Service portfolio.

Primary responsibilities will include: 

• First on call case support line, customer support and Clinical Specialist, Clinical Consultant, and sales managers support for all “KidneyVault” Renal Perfusion Device Cases
• Provide high level logistics management for “KidneyVault” Renal Perfusion Device Cases case start to case end.
• Actively monitor all “KidneyVault” Renal Perfusion Device Case pump parameters and logistics. Providing guidance and recommendations to internal and external teams in the proper, safe, and effective use of highly specialized organ preservation equipment for use in organ transplant procedures.
• Assist with in-person or remote customer training for all Paragonix devices as needed. 
• Assist with in-person or remote clinical training for all clinical staff and Paragonix sales managers
• Trained to facilitate active cases in both donor and recipient operating rooms. 
• App trouble shooting both external and internal. 
• Facilitate organizational and case support logistics
• Field assurance issues sent to quality via feedback forms within 24 hours of reported issue.   
• Differentiate Paragonix products, from current standard of care and competitive products. 
• Maintain case related data entry to ensure organizational dashboards are up to date. 
• Routine attendance and mandatory clinical and organizational meetings 
• Assists in field inventory audits for clinical team.
• May require additional responsibilities reliant upon organizational growth.

Required Qualifications: 

• Minimum education: BA/BS or equivalent work experience 
• 3-5 years of OPO, Transplant, Medical Device experience, Nursing, or equivalent experience 
• Extensive technical & clinical Kidney Pumping experience.

Other Requirements: 

• This role is a remote position (US) or from the Waltham (MA) Headquarters
• Must be willing to travel domestic and/or internationally approximately 1-20% of the time
• Experience in virtual, call center customer support, and previous hands-on experience with Paragonix products preferred. 
• Preferred CPTC, CTP, CCTC, CCTN 
• Preferred medical device technical representative
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office products 
• Advanced knowledge of app structure and mobile phone settings 
• Excellent Communication Skills & Critical thinking  

Willing to be on-call as needed.
