Job Description

Technical Skills –

  • Advance SQL/PLSQL knowledge for Oracle database
  • Advance PL/SQL programming such as bulk handling, pipelined functions, analytical queries, collections, Objects etc.
  • Have expert level experience in developing complex SQL, PL/SQL stored Procedures, Packages and functions
  • Have ability to work on complex queries, triggers, views, materialized views, ref cursors etc
  • Performance tuning, profiling and monitoring slow performing SQL
  • Participated in code reviews, unit test plan reviews, and other quality reviews. Identified and escalated issues that impacted testing progress.
  • Should have ability to break down the complex requirements and plan deliveries

Functional Skills

  • Functionality development / design implementation experience – Insurance functional domain experience is a big advantage
  • Understanding the requirements and preparing technical function specification documents.
  • Communicating with the client for gathering the requirements.
  • Additional Important skills

Analytical Skills

  • This is must. As most of our work is analysis based with data analysis and logical understanding of functional code
  • Willingness to learn new tools / frameworks – Dev studio in our context
  • Open mind to learn Majesco Products functionality
