RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Ensure that the balances of offshore companies' bank and investment accounts are aligned with bank statements, custody reports, and internal systems.

·       Analyze detailed reports on the financial position of investments, highlighting variations, profits, losses, and risks.

·       Ensure that all transactions comply with applicable local and international regulations.

·       Review and improve reconciliation processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

·       Implement or collaborate on the implementation of technological tools, such as ERP systems or reconciliation software.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST HAVE:

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, or related fields.

·       Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and specific accounting practices for offshore jurisdictions.

·       Previous experience with the accounting close process for offshore companies, particularly in BVI, Cayman Islands, or other jurisdictions.

·       Experience with ERP accounting systems and financial reconciliation tools.

·       Advanced or fluent English, as reports may involve communication with external parties (auditors, investors, tax authorities).

NICE TO HAVE:

·       Knowledge of international tax regulations and reporting requirements for offshore jurisdiction.

·       Experience with QuickBooks systems.
