Overview: This role is for military personnel who are seeking a Marketing Coordinator SkillBridge opportunity.
Hire Up is looking for a world-class SkillBridge Marketing Coordinator to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for helping to coordinate marketing campaigns, initiatives, and activities to promote the business. Their duties include strategizing and planning various marketing campaigns, researching market trends to determine consumer needs, and creating content for marketing campaigns as needed. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing marketing requests and assisting with the execution of marketing deliverables and activations across various channels and areas related to Paid Media, Social Media, Advertising, Direct Marketing, Creative Content Production, Brand Management, and managing these sources.
This role requires excellent project management, verbal and written communication skills.

Marketing Coordinator duties and responsibilities:
Marketing Coordinators complete tasks that support the company’s overall marketing initiatives.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop company brand guidelines and build a brand tool kit
- Conducting research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and customer behavior
- Create marketing strategies
- Communicating campaign deliverables, objectives, and timelines to their team while providing instructions for promotion or use
- Planning and managing marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events and meetings
- Maintaining an inventory and directory of marketing materials while coordinating new material creation as needed
- Developing various types of marketing deliverables, including social media posts, blog posts and print materials
- Monitoring and analyzing metrics to track the success of marketing campaigns
- Managing and coordinating tasks outsourced to external vendors, such as printing companies
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing collateral, advertising, paid media, email campaigns, and content marketing
- Track internal marketing requests and project deliverables along with timelines and status updates
- Coordinate team meetings and distribute meeting recaps with deliverables
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations to be utilized for company promotion
- Traffic creative assets and marketing deliverables to be utilized to drive brand recognition to internal leadership for approval for delivering effective action
- Manage version control and inventory of marketing collateral and creative assets
- Track and analyze performance metrics across owned and paid media channels for marketing campaigns
- Manage relationships with external marketing agencies to ensure high-quality and timely execution of initiatives related to paid media and creative production
- Identify and vet new paid media opportunities across all channels: Print, TV, Digital, Social
- Coordinate paid media plans to support new product launches and company initiatives
- Negotiate with media properties to help close impactful and cost-effective paid media deals
- Build relationships with media agencies and direct publishers
- Stay current on consumer and competitor trends related to paid media and advertising
- Monitor all paid media campaigns to develop and distribute frequent reporting of performance metrics
- Track and report media budget spending on a monthly and quarterly basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or military equivalent training) in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of work experience as a marketing or paid media coordinator
- Experience with web design
- Excellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skills
- Fundamental understanding of B-to-C and B-to-B advertising
- Deep understanding of paid media channels and advertising best practices
- Demonstrable experience planning and buying paid media for advertising across various platforms
- Fundamental understanding of lead source attribution and metrics for website traffic and app engagement
- Must be able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for developing frequent presentations and reports
- Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and interpret data reporting
- Must have strong organizational skills and display close attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
