This role will play a vital role in elevating Karbon’s presence and impact through exceptional event experiences and strategic partnerships. You’ll take ownership of planning and executing an extensive calendar of events that connect with our audience of accounting professionals, foster relationships with key partners, and amplify Karbon’s brand globally.
From coordinating our sponsorship of flagship conferences and tradeshows, organizing our own user conference and roundtable lunches, and managing partnerships that drive growth and visibility, this is a role where strategy meets execution. Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Plan, manage, and execute Karbon’s global event calendar, which includes tradeshows, conferences, customer events, and roundtable lunches
- Manage relationships with several key strategic partners to ensure mutual value and alignment with Karbon’s goals
- Drive awareness of Karbon by coordinating initiatives that leverage partnerships and industry associations
- Define event and partnership goals, objectives, and KPIs, and ensure alignment with broader marketing and business goals
- Coordinate logistics, timelines, budgets and vendor relationships
- Attend events to execute and coordinate on the ground logistics
- Play a leading role in planning, organizing and executing Karbon’s flagship user conference
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to align event messaging, assets and strategy
- Assist in developing event content, materials, and communications to promote engagement and enhance attendee experience
- Analyze event metrics and feedback to inform future improvements.
- Manage event marketing, including promotions, registration, and follow-up communications
About you
You’re the right person for this role if you have:
- 3+ years experience in event marketing or event management
- A proven track record of delivering impactful events and managing high-value partnerships
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across internal teams, partners, and vendors
- Experience managing budgets, tracking metrics, reviewing performance and using insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Experience in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS or technology environments (experience in the accounting or professional services industry is a plus)
- Experience using marketing, event management and project management tools
- Outstanding people and communication skills that will allow you to work across different teams, functions, timezones and regions

Pay Transparency States
As we hire across various locations within the USA we are required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The range provided is broad and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as physical location/cost of living in that location, years of experience, skills, and other business needs.
It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is $98,000-112,000. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, for some roles very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits. While we believe competitive compensation is a critical aspect of you deciding to join us, we do hope you also spend time considering why our mission, purpose and values are right for you.
