A day in the life:
As the Senior Downstream Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing impactful marketing campaigns that directly engage Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and drive sales growth. This dynamic position focuses on crafting and implementing innovative strategies to ensure products reach their target market effectively, delivering value to both customers and the organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop strategic marketing plans to highlight product value, competitive advantages, and market opportunities. Collaborate with Clinical, R&D, and Regulatory teams to align strategies with evidence generation plans. Drive product adoption through impactful marketing strategies and market analysis.
- Campaign Development & Execution: Create and execute multi-channel campaigns, including HCP initiatives, digital efforts, and sales support. Track metrics, optimize ROI, and report to senior management. Build dashboards to support sales and execution.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze the competitive market, providing regular updates to marketing and leadership. Define product positioning, strategies, and target audiences based on competitive analysis.
- Marketing Communications: Collaborate with marketing communications to create launch materials, product literature, and sales support collateral. Partner with the brand lead to develop patient-focused campaigns and content.
- Market Development: Build strong relationships with KOLs and stakeholders in cardiology and heart failure. Create programs to educate HCPs about the heart failure device. Collaborate with Market Development Managers to develop therapy awareness tools.
- Sales Support and Training: Partner with Marketing, Sales and Commercial Excellence leaders to create tools, training materials, and promotional content. Provide ongoing sales training and support for effective product positioning and messaging.
- Regulatory and Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Work closely with the regulatory team to obtain necessary approvals for marketing materials.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the downstream marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Track expenses and provide financial reports to senior management. Present to key members of the leadership team around launch status and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of marketing experience in the medical devices industry or within a hospital/clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience launching novel medical technologies in US and European markets.
- Excellent collaborative skills and experience in cross-functional teams.
What we would like to see:
- Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment is highly desirable.
- Experience in heart failure, cardiac rhythm management or electrophysiology is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Normal Remote working conditions.
- Must be able to sit/stand/walk 8 hours per day.
- Position may require up to 25% travel.
- May be required to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and other diseases.

Salary (or Hourly) range for U.S locations (USD): 145,000 TO 170,000 PER YEAR
The base salary range is applicable across the U.S., complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location.
In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Target Annual Bonus (TAB) which provides the opportunity to earn additional compensation for meeting established bonus objectives as outlined during first 30 days of employment and prorated based on earned annual base salary.
