What’s in Store 

We're on the lookout for a Financial Systems Administrator. As a Financial Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s financial systems to ensure their effective use in supporting business operations. This role involves collaborating with finance, IT, and other departments to implement, troubleshoot, and enhance system functionality while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance. The Financial Systems Administrator acts as a liaison between business users and technical teams to optimize financial systems and processes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

System Administration

  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions across financial platforms (e.g., ERP, expense management, procurement, and reconciliation tools).
  • Ensure systems are configured to meet business needs while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure timely updates and patches are applied.

Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide day-to-day support to users, resolving system issues and responding to inquiries.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical problems, collaborating with vendors or IT as needed.
  • Train users on system functionalities and best practices.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain and ensure the integrity of financial data across systems.
  • Develop, modify, and distribute financial reports and dashboards to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Support finance teams with data analysis and reporting requests.

Process Optimization

  • Collaborate with finance and IT to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Document system processes, procedures, and user guides.
  • Implement enhancements to increase efficiency and system usability.

Project Support

  • Assist in the implementation and integration of new financial systems or modules.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation to ensure functionality aligns with business requirements.
  • Support M&A activities by integrating new entities into financial systems.

Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial system vendors.
  • Coordinate with IT and finance teams to align on system-related priorities and initiatives.
  • Communicate system updates, changes, and enhancements to end users.

This role is a full-time, Home-Based position.

Your Expertise, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing financial systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Coupa, Certify, Blackline).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
  • Technical proficiency with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Experience with system integration, configuration, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Experience supporting M&A activities and integrating new business units into financial systems.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively train and support end users
