POS/Print Account Executive

TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging for a variety of global customers and are active in 97 markets globally and we are made up of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and NA.

About The Role

We are expanding our client services team across Europe and as a result, we are now looking for one Account Executive/ Junior Account Manager to join our team in Germany. This is a permanent position which can be based remotely/working from home with infrequent travel needed. Our client offices are based in Verden and Munich, so there will be in-frequent travel to meet with them but some ideal locations to be based or near are Verden, Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Hannover or eventually Munich (and surrounding areas),

As our Account Executive / Junior Account Manager, you will be responsible for the operational support of the 2D/Flatpack Temporary Display contract for a strategic regional retail account. You will be playing a key part in ensuring the end-to-end process is fully supported and managed whilst delivering exceptional administration through the smooth and efficient execution of all POS / Point of Sale and Display campaigns. You will provide operational support to the client, co-packers, warehouses and retailers.

Some day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Managing multi-campaigns/multi job projects, be client facing with multiple service elements, project managing from taking the brief to ensuring the deliverables.
  • Liaise with all stakeholders such as co-packers, retailers, suppliers, to ensure smooth delivery of goods to warehouses and/or retailers.
  • Supports catalogue compliance and actively looks for opportunities to further improve TCO savings.
  • Planning and cost management of POS and 2/3D Temporary Display campaigns.
  • Provides technical and operational support to the client(s) stakeholders.
  • Escalate when vendors underperform or have issues.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure critical path schedules are being met and shared.
  • Assist the Account Team leader in the development of operational and commercial strategies.

About You:

  • Come from a similar role / background with any exposure or experience within the retail / display / packaging industry would be beneficial
  • Previous customer facing experience with strong communication skills is essential for this role.
  • Any background or skills within procurement, stock inventory, production or client services would work well within this role.
  • Good Excel skills, and CRM system as well as a high level of accuracy/attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of the print and display industry would be desirable
  • Any knowledge around prepress and colour management would be an advantage
  • Professional level Fluency in German and English.
