The Project Manager will be responsible for structuring, a wide range of project management activities, tasks and priorities across CBE operational and corporate business unites, including but not limited to IT, Finance, HR. This position will take a strategic and service-oriented approach to working with project teams to execute projects designed to achieve corporate and strategic business unit objectives and goals. This position will serve as project manager on projects or portions of projects of appropriate complexity and/or risk to meet company goals and objectives.

Provide overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines while ensuring project deliverables are in accordance with agreed-upon requirements, timelines, and quality
Build and develop relationship with leaders and stakeholder throughout entire organization, including executive management team, leadership teams, VP’s, directors, managers, and many others.
Manage and align project resources and schedule daily to project plan.
Analyze and provide status on project(s) regarding schedule, cost, resources, scope, risk and quality
Provide periodic metrics on project health and trend over time
Work to develop, implement, document and maintain standard project management methodologies, including standard metrics and reporting
Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization, across departments, and with external vendors and consultants as necessary
Manage a portfolio of projects of varying size and complexity to meet company goals and objectives
The following duties and responsibilities fall under the project manager:
Operational Excellence
Scope Management
Manage projects with moderately defined, complex scope, with several cross-project dependencies.
Able to regularly manage concurrent projects, within a program or portfolio.
Ensure the project scope is adequately defined and agreed upon by all stakeholders.
Ensure that the project includes all the work required, and only the work required to complete the project.
Work closely with project sponsors to ensure requirements are complete, accurate and measurable.
Procurement and Financial Management
Manage vendor(s)/contractor(s)/consultant(s) relationships and rules of engagement working closely with the Vendor Mgmt. and Purchasing Analyst
Ensure that initial project estimates & financial forecasts are complete with sufficient level of detail to support baseline estimates.
Throughout project, ensure that project budget/actuals are accounted for timely and accurately.
Ensure that any project change requests are assessed for impact to budget or business case and that approved cost changes are implemented.
Communicate / report financial performance throughout project lifecycle.
Quality Management
Ensure that project approach deploys adequate quality assurance techniques in accordance with generally accepted PMI and CBE Group standards.
Ensure that project deliverables - Charter, Project Plan, etc. meet quality standards and are approved in a timely manner.
Resource Management
Manage a cross-functional project team size of 10 or more team members.
Manage project from several geographic locations (virtual project teams).
Able to manage/interact with more than 5 stakeholders per project.
Promote proper resource management by assigning clear ownership in the project schedule, with resource forecasted at appropriate levels.
Monitor & communicate resource utilization (including negotiating resource contention).
Establish strong relationships with internal development, analysts, operations, and management associates and establish personal credibility with these individuals
Communication Management
Institute effective project related internal and external communication
Escalate and resolve issues via proper communication channels
Maintain and distribute required project documentation and performance information, including status reports and progress measurements
Risk Management
Identify, track, and/or resolve project issues and risks
Perform risk analysis and assist in the development of risk response plans

Job Requirements:
BS/BA Degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or another field
PMP Certification or equivalent is preferred
Three (3) + years of project management experience preferred
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in technology project management preferred
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving individual who possesses both the ability to analyze complex technical issues and the skill to communicate complex technical issues in terms that are understandable to clients and staff whose expertise is outside the technical arena.
Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tool a plus
Experience in utilizing Microsoft SharePoint preferred
Ability to effectively collaborate within and across business units in order to achieve organizational goals
Superior organizational skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks
Excellent written and communication skills
The pay range for this position is $73,000-$85,000/year. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
