Job Title: Project Manager
Location:
Remote (EST Time zone)
Salary Range:
up to 2900 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

The Project Manager will play a key role in translating project scopes into actionable plans, coordinating with technicians and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple project pipelines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

  • Translate project scopes, shop drawings, and schedules into detailed plans and tasks.
  • Conduct daily reviews with field technicians and subcontractors to track progress and resolve issues.
  • Manage project status updates using cloud-based spreadsheets and tools like Microsoft Lists.


Documentation and Communication:

  • Prepare and update project documentation, including plans, schedules, scopes of work, change orders, and proposals.
  • Send, track, and respond to RFIs using platforms like SharePoint.
  • Participate in project management meetings, take notes, and flag issues.


Technical Expertise:

  • Interpret shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and building plans.
  • Utilize software tools such as Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, and Visio for project execution.
  • Implement automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT+, Power Automate) to enhance project management efficiency.


Pipeline Management:

  • Manage multiple pipelines for sales, projects, and service & maintenance.
  • Report daily on project progress and performance metrics.


Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Planner, and To Do).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based spreadsheets and VoIP tools like Dialpad.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in interpreting technical documents such as shop drawings and wiring diagrams.


Nice to Haves:

  • Background in skilled trades project management (Building Automation, HVAC, Electrical).
  • Understanding of building automation technical concepts and common components.
  • Experience with maintaining and improving documentation workflows using tools like Microsoft Loop.
