Business Development Lead - Teamextn

Part-time: 3+ hours per week (flexible/make your own schedule)

Commission-only role with 5% profit share

About Teamextn 

This position is commission only. The individual hired will also earn a percentage of the company's profits (to be discussed with the co-founder). 

Teamextn is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Lead to become the primary point of contact between the company and our customers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a passion for driving growth and building lasting relationships. As the face of the company, you will play a key role in shaping our business strategy and ensuring long-term sustainability. 

Teamextn is a software consulting agency specializing in building highly available and horizontally scalable distributed applications. We engage with our customers to employ the right team of consultants on the project and deliver success on their products. As it stands, the team consists of technologists and is looking for a Business Development Lead with a business development and sales background in the US to grow its leadership capacity and take the company’s initiatives to the next level. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and customers, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and fostering strong relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities by understanding customer needs, addressing pain points, and proactively offering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder to develop and execute strategies that drive sustainable growth and long-term success.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies, including distribution channels and partnerships to scale the business.
  • Continuously analyze, test, and refine business strategies based on measurable results to ensure scalability and impact.
  • Be adaptable and open to pivoting strategies based on data-driven insights and changing market conditions.
  • Contribute to the company culture, working closely with a small, agile team of motivated individuals with a shared hunger for growth.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in business development within the IT industry, preferably with experience in startups and entrepreneurial environments.
  • Skills: Proven track record of devising and executing successful business development strategies, cultivating new business opportunities, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong domain expertise in a relevant industry is a significant advantage.
  • Growth Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team setting with a hands-on approach and a focus on growth.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Experience in building and scaling businesses, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with startups.
