Why do we have this role?
ClickSend, a brand of the Sinch SMB group, is a rapidly growing and fast-moving business with an enviable situation of having a high deal flow of inbound sales opportunities which many of self-convert. However, greater opportunities are available with the sales team to assist with pricing and product queries as part of that conversion. For new website enquiries and customers who have trialled our platform but not moved forward with becoming a paid user.
What do you do in the role?
- The SDR team will cover clients in the AU/US or UK time zones and are responsible for maximising conversion of a high inbound flow of predominantly SMB customers. This position focuses on website engagement and handling our inbound sales inquiries, of which we see 400+ per month across regions.
- The objective of the SDR will be to book a meeting with the client directly or with one of our CSMs.
- SDRs will also be tasked with re-activation of dormant opportunities to maximize the potential of our inbound lead flow.

- Web chat satisfaction scores
- Re-engagement metrics
- Manage CRM activity (Salesforce)
- Weekly 1 on 1 with Sales Director
What experience/qualities you need to bring with you
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a sales development role, ideally within an enterprise SaaS or technology environment.
Skills:
- Proven sales phone skills, customer success or inside sales experience, ideally gained within a SMS, SaaS or telecommunications environment
- A fluency with numbers and a keen understanding of SDR dashboards
- Adept at identifying and executing on opportunities
- Customer focus and genuine interest in understanding their needs
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills, on video calls or phone calls
- Familiarity with SaaS tools like Salesforce, Intercom, Slack, etc.
