About the Role:
As a Power Sales Engineer (PSE), you'll drive the growth of CPI’s power product line by developing strategies, building relationships, and working closely with internal teams and customers across the Western U.S. This role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and sales leadership to expand CPI’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers and partners.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the power solutions pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Area Vice Presidents, Regional Sales Managers, Product Managers, alliance partners, and manufacturer reps to achieve company objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive market penetration and profitability.
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to ensure CPI remains a leader in power solutions.
  • Represent CPI in professional organizations, deliver product presentations, and manage special projects.
  • Travel within the region (AK, CA, HI, ID, OR, MT, N. NV, and WA).

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS/BA degree (Engineering preferred).
  • Experience: 7–10 years of account or power product management in the ICT industry, with expertise in data center power systems (PDUs, UPS, software).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems and data center operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Location: Must reside in California.
