The Role

Due to growth, we are looking for a Principal Consultant - Modern Cloud to join us on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be responsible for leading cloud and infrastructure projects, whilst also building a sales pipeline of engagements, maintaining relationships with clients and developing junior peers in the practice.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead client engagements and build client relationships to develop an understanding of the right fit of modern cloud consulting offerings to help our clients take their next step.
Promote market offerings and generate client discussions, leads and opportunities to achieve cloud and infrastructure objectives.
Develop proposals, assist with tender responses and provide support to account managers and business development managers.
Manage budget and forecasted effort for client engagements.
Provide guidance and mentoring to the wider team that uplifts the quality of deliverables and provides proactive, constructive feedback on areas of development.

What skills you will bring to the team:

Extensive experience of the broader technology ecosystem, common approaches to managing technology, modern technology concepts and expertise in at least one focused area of practice.
End-to-end engagement lifecycle management experience, from pre-sales and account management activities to billing.
Strong experience in successfully leading engagements that have produced business outcomes.
Ability to develop, lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops to identify problems and develop solutions using contemporary approaches.
A cloud principal consultant should have a natural focus and strength across the following areas:
Public Cloud Platforms (AWS & Azure).
Cloud-Native Architecture (Microservices, Serverless Computing).
Cloud-Native Databases (Azure CosmosDB, AWS DynamoDB).
Cloud Security (IAM & Network Security).
Cloud Migration (re-platforming & re-hosting strategies).
DevOps and CI/CD.
API Management (Azure API Management or AWS API Gateway)
