Job description

We seek an Oracle Cloud Lead Financial Consultant with experience in the following (and in order of importance for success in this role): 
•General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Intercompany Accounting
•Cash Management 
•Fixed Assets
•Accounts Receivable
•Accounts Payable
•Month-end Close and Year-end Close support
•Preferred: Grants Management 
•Preferred: Project Management

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will: 
•Collaborate closely with clients to assure they understand their business processes and financial reporting.  
•Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on Oracle Cloud Financial capabilities.
•Provide timely support for Oracle Cloud Financial-related issues, collaborating with team members to resolve problems efficiently.
•Follow best practices for incident and problem management.
•Identify opportunities for system optimization and efficiency gains within Oracle Cloud Financial.
•Conduct training sessions for end-users and client teams on Oracle Cloud Financial functionalities.
•Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, customizations, and client-specific processes.
•Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Five plus years of proven experience with Oracle Cloud Financial, including implementation and support.
•Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting requirements.
•Prior experience working with US local governments, higher education, and K-12s, preferred.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Oracle Cloud Financials certifications are advantageous.
•Experience with Oracle Cloud SCM and EPM is a plus.
