Job Title: Manager, Process and Systems

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Manager, Process, and Systems will oversee and optimize financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy across the organization with particular focus on our NetSuite ERP system. This role is responsible for managing the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of financial systems, driving process optimization initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the airline’s financial objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise in financial systems and a proven track record in process improvement.
Primary Job Functions:
- Maintain and administer the NetSuite platform, including system configuration, user roles, permissions, custom fields, forms, reports, and saved searches.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and respond to requests for assistance with the NetSuite platform.
- Implement and manage customizations, including workflows, scripts, dashboards, and third-party integrations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
- Train users on new processes and features. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and training materials.
- Stay informed of new NetSuite features and functionality. Plan and execute system updates, patches, and new module implementations.
- Collaborate with functional teams in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, as well as enhancements to existing applications.
- Assess vendor development strategies and evaluate their impact on long- and short-term lifecycle planning for financial system upgrades, new application implementations, or system procurement.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing financial systems, developing strategies for improvement or further leveraging these systems, including interfaces between systems.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of financial data and reporting systems.
- Lead initiatives to streamline financial processes, automate tasks, and improve financial reporting and analysis efficiency.
- Conduct process and data audits to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize financial operations and ensure accurate and consistent data is maintained across the system.
- Lead cross-functional projects related to finance systems and process improvements.
- Ensure financial systems and processes comply with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Monitor, assess, and mitigate risks related to financial systems and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, NetSuite) or MBA are preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of finance experience across key finance areas.
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience administering NetSuite ERP or demonstrated strong understanding of NetSuite’s capabilities, including workflows, saved searches, reporting and SuiteScript a systems or process management role.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership/management role.
- Experience in the airline industry is an asset, but not required.
- Proven experience in managing other financial systems, system integrations, data management, overseeing process optimization, and leading cross-functional projects within a complex organizational environment.
- Experience driving process improvement initiatives.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of database structures and SQL
- NetSuite certification is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
