Job Overview

TIG Risk Services is actively seeking a licensed Private Investigator in the Eureka area, California. The successful candidate will engage in comprehensive surveillance operations related to workers’ compensation, auto liability, and various claims for both general and long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive surveillance and activity checks for multiple claim types.
  • Perform background investigations to gather pertinent information.
  • Collect statements and execute scene inspections as needed.
  • Demonstrate adaptability in conducting both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse and challenging environments, including high-crime areas.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two years of experience in surveillance.
  • Proficient report writing and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate different environments and conduct pretext investigations.
  • Experience in taking statements and conducting scene inspections is highly regarded.

Qualifications

  • An active Private Investigator License in California is required.
  • Experience in Special Investigative Unit (SIU) functions is preferred.
