Job description

Background:

At Management Sciences for Health (MSH), we advance knowledge and technology globally to support people locally to achieve health for all. From health ministry to community, private sector to civil society, as trusted advisors, we make the foundational changes that support the whole health system. This position supports key strategic research projects for talent acquisition outreach. In the day to day, the intern will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team and country teams to develop a resource guide for job boards and country-specific resources to build outreach. This will provide the opportunity to gain full-cycle recruitment experience with a focus on building diverse candidate pipelines for a variety of positions across the organization.

Responsibilities may include:

  • A project that concentrates on identifying the most effective recruitment resources in the countries where MSH works;
  • Researching and making recommendations on how to increase and improve the use of social media as a recruitment tool;
  • Reviewing, standardizing, and organizing existing job descriptions;
  • Developing a resource that will standardize professional competencies across job families and experience levels; and
  • Contributing to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) outreach including collecting association and career fair contacts
