Job description



Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a new Sales Specialist for the western U.S. region.  You will use your expertise of the sports surfacing products and athletics market to partner with Territory Reps and facilitate sales.
 

Location: 100% remote in the western U.S. region, preferably around Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, or Louisiana
Sales Specialist Salary Range: $74,000 - $92,000, depending on experience.  In addition, sales bonus based on performance.

Core Contributions:   

  • Cultivate high-level relationships and build new business with key customers and end users, promoting Ecore products throughout the regional Education, Athletics and Recreation market.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with sports surfacing contractors, architects, designers, and industry networking groups.
  • Assist with strategic planning, sales and marketing strategies, and the creation of sales goals and supporting budgets.
  • Responsible for the sales and gross profit for the Education, Athletics and Recreation products in the region and adhering to established budgets.
  • Monitor and direct key projects including the delivery, installation, cleaning and maintenance.
  • Initiate and direct sales tools, marketing and promotional materials.
  • Represent Ecore at pertinent trade shows, related conferences, customer presentations, and organization meetings.
  • Provide product and market segment training to employees, sales agents, and customers.
  • Work directly with our regional sales team to execute the Athletics and Education market strategy and ensure we achieve sales goals.
  • Approximately 75% travel.


 

Essential Experiences: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar area of study; or 3+ years equivalent industry work experience  
  • 3+ years outside sales experience in sports flooring construction or manufacturing
  • Knowledge of flooring materials preferred 
  • Product marketing and distribution channel experience 
  • Experience using CRM such as Salesforce software strongly preferred
