About GSMA Fusion

GSMA Open Gateway is a framework of common network Application Programmable Interfaces (APIs) designed to provide universal access to operator networks for hyper-scalers, cloud providers, systems integrators and developers.

GSMA Fusion is a new enterprise-focused, buyer-led initiative under Open Gateway focused on helping enterprises and industries voice what they need from connectivity providers to digitally transform their operations.

The GSMA created the Fusion programme in July 2024 with a soft launch at MWC Las Vegas in October 2024.  This programme focuses on outside-in demand generation bringing knowledge, insights and requirements from adjacent industry segments back to the telecommunications community.  For the most part industry segments do not have a good understanding of the capabilities of 5G networks and the potential impact network APIs can have in terms of Digital Transformation.  The Fusion programme is targeting 5 key industry segments in 2025:
1.    Finance, Insurance, Banking (Payment services and identity management)
2.    Automotive
3.    Aviation
4.    Manufacturing
5.    Media & Broadcast

What the hiring manager says

“The Senior Marketing Manager role is a key position in an exciting growth area where the focus is on engaging with new industry verticals, supporting market analysis, go-to-market, creating awareness, educating and creating leads for the programme. The marketing manager will need a broad skill-set and adaptability to support a rapidly evolving programme. The ability to manage digital marketing and events is key. Ultimately, the person who fills this role will be comfortable working without close supervision, collaborating across industries and focused on making an impact. They must be comfortable experimenting with new approaches and making informed decisions about next steps.”
