Job location could be remote within UK or EU

Job Purpose

To be the main point of contact for HopInspiration® to specific global brewing customers, proactively managing their

needs, aligning with TNS capability and portfolio. As such delivering profitable sales growth, technical competence

through education and brand awareness across customer OPCO and Technical Centres.

The job holder would be an experienced commercial and/or technical leader who demonstrates the ability to inspire

customers, support a high-performance culture, is technically and commercially competent and has a real passion to develop a strong value proposition for the use of TNS high quality hop extracts for the customer.

This is seen as key leadership and ambassador role in a highly strategic market for TNS and will have significant

autonomy and visibility within the organisation to build an exciting new business unit.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the key account effectively.
  • Create and execute 3 year Strategic Plan (including resourcing plan) for each customer account all regions from UK, Europe, USA, Australia, Asia and ROW
  • Understand regional consumer requirements to evolve and adapt global product offering
  • Oversee brand strategies and marketing execution in conjunction with Marketing Team to maximize awareness and consideration within the region
  • Full P&L accountability in Key account for agreed sales targets
  • Establish market and competitor activity monitoring from a commercial perspective
  • Build / develop high performing support team to help realise company aspirations
  • Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities for awareness and growth
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Monthly reporting, sales analytics and technical insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximise sales efficiency
  • Stay up to date on industry beer style trend analysis, competitive hop extract activity and changing consumer behaviours through industry publications, events and insights reports
  • Identify appropriate exhibitions and events to attend to build awareness and demonstrate a return on any investment

  • Strategic thinking and takes initiative on new areas of business development
  • Inspirational leadership and reliable manager of day to day priorities
  • Superb communicator, great organisational skills
  • Motivates wider commercial team to learn and develop new business opportunities

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience within the brewing and/or hop industry
  • A through technical knowledge of how to use hops in brewing
  • A proven track record of developing and executing go to market strategies
  • Strong affinity with customer needs to build awareness and engagement
  • Evidence of building and leading strong, high performing and motivated teams
  • Marketing expertise to build consumer brands in a compelling and engaging way
  • Strong analytical / P&L experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in science
  • Demonstrable ability to self-motivate and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong IT proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Fluent in English
  • A full driving license, and be flexible to travel on a regular basis
