We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our expanding Business Development Team. This role is vital in driving the qualification of inbound inquiries, following up on marketing campaign responders, and conducting cold prospecting efforts. You'll also play a key role in recruiting participants for corporate and regional marketing events within your assigned geography.

This position is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, possess strong organizational skills, and have a passion for developing their expertise in supply chain software.

What a day in the life looks like:

  • Create a positive first impression with prospects and customers, ensuring a world-class experience aligned with Körber values.
  • Perform initial qualification of opportunities for validation and assignment to sales representatives.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and rapid response cadence when following up on all inquiries and marketing leads.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing in your territory to research trends and identify new prospects.
  • Actively participate in team learning opportunities and contribute to your professional development.

What you bring to the team:

  • Prior experience in a Business Development or similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High ethical standards with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute plans effectively.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with business applications like Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).

This role is remote, but occasional travel to our Blackpool and Basingstoke offices will be required.
