Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr Infrastructure Engineer II!

About The Role

As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer II you will solve sophisticated business challenges by leading the delivery of quality solutions within the team. This role is responsible for implementation of patterns and practices that ensure alignment to organization security, performance and compliance standards and policies.

What you’ll do in this role

  • Perform installs, configurations, upgrades/enhancements, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and deliver daily, weekly and monthly activities of aligned technologies.
  • Analyze industry patterns and trends of aligned technologies and develop medium to long range plans designed to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness of aligned technologies.
  • Implement design patterns, impacting multiple teams.
  • Be responsible for implementation of a new solution, feature, capability, or practice.
  • Provide assistance and mentorship to all engineers within the team as needed.

Compensation

Salary Range: $125,000 - $208,400 plus eligibility for annual bonus program.
