The ideal candidate will be confident, detail-oriented, organized, able to prioritize work responsibilities and have strong professional written and oral communications skills. The person selected will be required to work well with a wide range of individuals and personality types.
Core Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for performing administrative duties for our Mandeville, LA Project Management Team. These assignments will include, but are not limited to:
· Support project managers in the execution of a project once an order is received
· Manage project document tracking, submittal receipt and distribution process
· Report status of project documents
· Serve as point of contact with clients for projects when project managers are unavailable or when requested by a project manager.
· Maintain project records, logs and files
· Prepare and distribute standard weekly/monthly reports
· Provide logistics support for Factory Acceptance Tests
· Provide support as needed to other areas as needed
Requirements:
· AS Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
· A minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a technical environment; or 2+ years as an engineering assistant or EIT
· Experience with engineering project management desirable
· Strong computer skills to include: MS Office, MS Project and Adobe Acrobat
· Understand how to use and operate databases.
