Responsibilities:

Litigation Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the collection of past due accounts through litigation in a manner that maximizes the number of active cases while keeping an acceptable level of return on costs, and becoming familiar with the litigation process as it pertains to our various products and the jurisdictions where we litigate. 

 

What you will do:

  • Accurately document accounts according to policy
  • Assist and manage law firms to support litigation
  • Settlement negotiations within law firm agreement
  • Perform routine audits of database, legal research, and consulting with attorneys
  • Verify and process volume goals to respective attorneys monthly through SFTP site
  • Verify that account information is correct and accurate on every file sent to Litigation Attorney; skip trace and update account information as needed.
Qualifications:

What you should have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of phone-based collections, legal collections, or proven data-entry experience
  • Proven ability to effectively analyze and interpret data, as well as implement strategies for maximizing collections and customer retention
  • Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Successful decision-making and negotiating abilities
  • Excellent computer skills (including strong proficiency with MS Office, bankruptcy/loan management software preferred), organizational skills and exceptional attention to details
  • Strong ability to process a high volume of activity accurately
  • Must be hardwired to your home modem using the provided ethernet cable and be able to meet the minimum work-from-home requirements (including hi-speed internet in your home with minimum 50 Mbps download & 5 Mbps upload speeds). 

 

Base Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $19.00

 

The base hourly range represents the low and high end of the anticipated hourly range for this position based on the state average.  The actual base hourly offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
