Job description

About the role

The Meliore Foundation is seeking a Technical IT Delivery Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of IT projects and some longer term IT initiatives, reporting to, and working closely with the IT Director. Whilst this role largely involves project management, the successful candidate will also be expected to provide technical direction to project teams and other stakeholders.

The types of projects and initiatives will be varied and will heavily involve the implementation and ongoing development of business systems (such as ERP, HRIS and other back office applications) - both individually and how they work together with a focus to improve operational efficiency and suitability in an evolving workplace. Demonstrable experience here is essential.

This role will work with people across the whole IT team including Cyber Security professionals and will be responsible for choosing the right team members for project work, with guidance from the IT Director and other team managers as required.

This role will not have any line management responsibilities initially but this is likely to change. Given you will manage project teams, people management skills are important. The successful candidate will be self-driven and possess a proactive approach to their role.

If this sounds like you, we'd love for you to apply.

How you’ll contribute

  • Delivery of the portfolio of IT projects for the Foundation
  • Help shape the priorities and roadmap for IT delivery with the IT Director and other team managers
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders outside of IT - both within our Global Operations Team and across the Foundation
  • Act as the key communication bridge between technical and non technical project stakeholders
  • Identity and manage risks relating to IT projects
  • Provide business analysis input into project work
  • Identify gaps in project related skills and work with IT Director to resolve
  • Work in line with the Cyber Security team, in ensuring all deliverables and the steps to delivery are following a risk-based approach to cyber security.
