Why it matters: We need an Associate with event production experience who can manage production tasks, small market local events from beginning to end, vendor facing documents and multiple front-of-house and back-of-house tasks on-site at events and in a virtual environment. This person will collaborate across the events team to research and build robust venue and vendor leads, track and improve team efficiency and process, support the production team with creation and design of on-screen graphics, audio tracks, and video editing (including digital assets in After Effects, audio editing, clip cutting in Adobe Premiere... etc) and perform relevant administrative tasks.
Go deeper: This role has production responsibilities and will often work on multiple, concurrent virtual or in-person events while moving at a fast pace.

Starting salary for this role is in the range of $55,000 - $63,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation and benefits. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting, this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.
