Become a vital part of our dynamic team, where you'll seamlessly integrate your consulting expertise with your entrepreneurial spirit. As a "business developer," you'll leverage your significant consulting experience, technical expertise, leadership acumen, and extensive network of client relationships. We're seeking a seasoned professional who excels in selling and consulting for environmental projects, spanning permitting, reporting, and compliance matters.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive technical, regulatory, and project management support to clients throughout project execution.

• Exceed annual net revenue targets, aiming for half a million dollars with a profit margin of 20% or higher.

• Lead projects and cultivate key client relationships, overseeing staff management and development while identifying new business opportunities with the support of our business development team.

• Advocate for technical excellence and foster employee growth within the office, collaborating with other Principals to drive our collective vision and direction.

Skills and Experience:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Biological, or Civil focus) or an Environmental Science field (Biology, Chemistry, Geology, etc.); a Master’s degree is advantageous.

• Possess a minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting experience.

• Demonstrate proficiency in water-related services important to our clients. Key services include NPDES, Section 404, stormwater, wastewater treatment, modeling, water quality standards, groundwater, etc.

• Maintain state license or professional certification, as appropriate.

• Demonstrate proficiency in state environmental programs/regulations; experience in multiple industrial sectors is advantageous.

• Familiarity with project and program management software such as Microsoft Project and Excel or equivalent tools for budgeting, cost tracking, and scheduling.

• Showcase a clientele portfolio comprising Fortune 1000 companies, outside counsel, and developers, addressing environmental challenges that align with our core practice areas.
