The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the management, configuration, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, ensuring it aligns with institutional objectives and supports key business processes. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to customize solutions that enhance operational efficiency, student engagement, and data-driven decision-making.



Platform Administration:

  • Manage day-to-day configuration, user setup, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform.
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits, backups, and de-duplication efforts.
  • Monitor system health and performance to maintain optimal functionality.

Custom Development:

  • Design and implement custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
  • Develop and deploy custom reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to support decision-making.

 User Support and Training:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related queries and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct training sessions for faculty, staff, and administrators to maximize user adoption.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system processes and training materials.

Integration Management:

  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems (e.g., SIS, LMS, marketing automation tools).
  • Manage data imports/exports and maintain integrations to ensure seamless data flow.

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Work closely with institutional leadership to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation to support enrollment, retention, and operational goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of Salesforce administration experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or higher.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce tools such as Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Lightning Experience.
  • Experience creating and managing reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the education or career college sector.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Cloud
  • Knowledge of student lifecycle management processes (e.g., admissions, enrollment, retention).
  • Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with SIS or LMS platforms.
