As a key member of our Affinity Partnerships team, you will activate and manage our top partners with a proactive and strategic approach to maximize revenue opportunities for our hotels.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic market activation plans with regional and local clubs to maximize the performance of our partnerships, while leveraging your project management, sales and marketing expertise to drive revenue.
  • Work closely with internal cross – functional teams, including marketing, revenue management, loyalty and operations to build appropriate strategies to grow Affinity Partner revenue and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at partner accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day business needs.
  • Coordinate partner events, sponsorships, and activities to increase brand visibility and drive revenue generation.
  • Provide input on marketing collateral, including sales and training materials, presentations, and digital assets to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Conduct monthly business reviews with regional clubs to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for growth, and address any challenges or issues.
  • Develop and provide training and educational sessions to our partners as it relates to our brands, promotions, and industry trends as needed.
  • Conduct training and educational webinars for our hotels to showcase the value of our partnerships.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to partners.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Choice Hotels, representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and foster relationships with key stakeholders

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies   

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years’ experience in account management, sales, or marketing, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with experience developing and executing campaigns.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful client relationships, driving revenue growth, and building brand loyalty.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, prioritizing and managing multiple skills simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Your Team  

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Strategic Partnerships.  You will collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Strategic Account Manager, Affinity Partners, you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home office. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN. Frequent nationwide travel will be required 25% of the time.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
