Job description

Charles Taylor is a highly successful global provider of professional services to the insurance industry. We are seeking a dynamic Claims Services Assistant to join our team. This is a remote role.

Position Summary

The Claims Services Assistant supports claims Adjusters by providing administrative and data entry support on claim files. They will handle routine claim matters on workers’ compensation claims at the direction of the Adjuster.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Receive and initiate phone calls on claim related matters.
  • Resolve medical billing inquiries and issues.
  • Inputs claims payments at the direction of Adjuster.
  • Monitor/track claims payments by client to determine who is the appropriate payer for claims.
  • Create and disseminate various claims management information and reports to stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparation of Management reports.
  • Run claims reports and arrange claim data for distribution.
  • Provide administrative support for department projects.


Desired Skills

  • Organized with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills. Experience working with Excel to organize data. Prior use of Adobe with skills in working with and managing large documents.
  • Understanding of banking and financial transactions.
  • Personable and able to relay information to clients and providers.
  • Resourceful -able to multi-task - Perform multiple job duties at once.
  • Understand timelines and respond accordingly to clients.
