About the Role
As the Senior Analyst, Demand Planner your primary responsibility is to own the relationship and input from sales, ensuring customer specific inputs are incorporated into our near-term forecasts. You will work closely with sales, but also partner heavily with cross functionals in marketing, finance, and supply chain. You will manage a portfolio of approximately ~200-300 UPCs and will develop a forecast by using insights such as shipment history, sales collaboration, distribution accuracy, and marketing plans. This role is a key driver in creating and managing the true consumer demand signals by which to align the rest of the Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
Lead collaboration calls with key sales accounts to review and adjust the forecast based on customer inputs.
Act as a key player in the S&OE process to ensure our short terms plans are reflective of changes (pacing, RDC splits, Sales Demand Change Requests) and mitigate risk.
Participate in Step 1&2, collaborating with Design Planner presenting customer specific changes to forecast to senior commercial leadership teams for alignment.
Conduct root cause analysis of forecast error and identify corrective actions.
Required Experience You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
2 + years relevant Planning, Customer Supply Chain, or other Supply Chain related field.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Experience and Skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to present recommendations concisely to cross functional partners and gain support for consensus plans rooted in data and assumptions.
Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, linking root cause to action driving KPI improvement.
Ability to work with and deal in ambiguity; analyze existing data, make assumptions, and present business case for action.
2 + years relevant Demand Planning / Forecasting background
A fast-paced, multi-tasking expert with strong cross-functional project management capabilities.
End to End Supply Chain knowledge and understanding; able to quickly make decisions based on analysis of current assumptions.
