About the role

BigHand is looking for an ambitious Product Marketing Manager to help drive the next phase of growth for our Workflow Management and Financial Operations verticals. Reporting into the Head of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling product messaging, and positioning our offerings to resonate with legal professionals.

This role will work closely with the Product MD and Product Manager within our Workflow Management business to ensure marketing is contributing and delivering value at every stage of the product development process for this product. This role also presents an exciting opportunity to establish product marketing activities for our financial operations products, which sit within our Financial Productivity business.

Due to the highly cross-functional nature of product marketing, this role will also work regularly with teams across the wider business including product, marketing, sales, solutions and customer success.

What you’ll do

  • Lead on creating the go-to-market positioning and value propositions for your products
  • Bring current and new solutions & features to market and contribute to the ongoing product strategy
  • Become a product evangelist and subject matter expert
  • Build competitor and market analysis – with continuous monitoring & updating
  • Build, understand & update ICPs (Ideal customer profiles) for both buyers and users of the products
  • Develop compelling audience messaging and content for each product/audience
  • Create and enhance sales enablement materials and run internal sales training
  • Work with teams across the business to ensure product enhancements are communicated effectively, both internally and externally
  • Plan and manage product operational and end-of-life communications
  • Be an expert on TAM & SAM for your products/verticals and how this should influence our wider marketing strategy
  • Keeping customer facing roadmaps up-to-date
  • Work with the wider marketing team to support lead generation activities for your products
What we’re looking for
  • At least 4 years previous work experience within a B2B marketing role, with at least 1 years’ experience working in a product marketing-focused role
  • Experience of developing and implementing successful go to market strategies and launches for new products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of message development
  • Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate, motivate and influence at the highest level
  • An understanding of the importance of digital marketing activities as part of the marketing mix
  • Experience of using a marketing automation tool, such as Pardot, for a targeted and personalised approach, delivering successful results
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong customer focus
  • Experience analysing and distilling data into actionable insights to inform product marketing activities
