Description

Job Purpose

The Junior Client Reporting Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely completion of client reports across the enterprise. This includes recurring weekly/monthly status updates as well as ad hoc reports. The candidate will need to build effective relationships with project leaders as well as executive leaders. Additionally, the Client Reporting Specialist will need to be flexible and strategic in managing priorities to ensure client satisfaction in an environment of moving timelines and sudden time-sensitive client needs.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational leaders to determine ongoing reporting requirements
  • Work with operational and analytic team members to assess the most legitimate sources of report data and the most effective presentation method
  • Creation of multiple monthly client presentations (PowerPoint)
  • Work with the operational leaders and the client management team to improve upon current reporting processes
  • Proactively manage and resolve reporting issues
  • Perform QA on reporting output to validate period-to-period consistency and identify any anomalies
  • Coordinate with operational team members to determine the source of reporting anomalies and work proactively with IT to resolve reporting data issues
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of hospital revenue cycle experience is preferred
  • High proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Intermediate understanding of Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup functions
  • Understanding and ability to write SQL queries
  • Analytic insight into data and reports
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with managing leadership expectations when dealing with multiple concurrent high-priority requests
  • Exceptional time management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
