The Data Conversion Consultant Level 1 plays a key role in supporting data conversion projects, from initial planning and coordination through post-go-live support. This position focuses on ensuring accurate data migration, collaborating effectively with internal teams and vendors, and providing a smooth transition for clients. The Consultant works under guidance to complete assigned tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support successful project outcomes.

Your Role:

  • Execute data conversion projects of medium complexity from start to finish
  • Conduct data testing and validation to ensure adherence to technical specifications.
  • Analyze data for errors and develop corrective procedures to ensure data accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data conversion.
  • Archive and prepare environments for EMR data conversions.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders clarifying project requirements, accuracy, collaboration, and timelines 
  • Validate that implemented solutions meet expectations agreed upon during implementation.
  • Provide post-live support for a designated period, then transition support to Client Services.
  • Refer cases to appropriate departments for issue resolution when necessary and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer experience.
  • Perform tasks off-hours as needed to complete specific projects or tasks.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Entry-level project coordination and customer service experience, with a focus on delivering quality support.
  • Typically requires 1-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Basic understanding of data manipulation and mapping is required.
  • Knowledge of data conversion tools and best practices.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Proficiency with business applications and tools, such as Google Workspace (gSuite), Windows 10 and higher, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN clients, and remote access software.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server environments.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create basic technical documents, including data conversion specifications.
  • Strong analytical skills for understanding and explaining technical concepts.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging with vendors or team members.
  • Comfortable working independently and contributing to team projects.
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows and operations is a plus but not required.
