Commercial Director – East Region

About TPG Pressure Market:
TPG's Pressure Market specializes in manufacturing and distributing concrete and steel pipe products designed for a wide range of applications. These include:
Water Transmission: Providing reliable and durable pipe solutions for water transmission systems.
Wastewater Management: Offering robust pipe products for wastewater conveyance and treatment facilities.
Industrial Applications: Catering to industrial sectors with high-pressure piping needs, such as oil and gas, chemical processing, and power generation.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Director for TPG Pressure East Region will lead and manage all business development representatives within the Pressure Market segment in US and Canadian East Region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, extensive sales experience, and a deep understanding of the Pressure Market's unique challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand TPG's presence in existing and emerging markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and coach the TPG Pressure Business Development representatives to maximize their potential and performance.
- Establish clear performance metrics and goals for the team and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members as needed.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
- Understand customer needs and requirements and tailor solutions to their specific challenges.
- Please resolve customer complaints and issues quickly.
Market Analysis & Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the Pressure Market.
- Provide market insights and feedback to inform product development and innovation.
- Ensure comprehensive product knowledge among the sales team, including features, benefits, and applications of TPG Pressure products.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual sales budget for the Pressure East Region Market segment.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Forecast sales projections and contribute to the overall financial planning process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 25 years of sales experience, with at least five years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of the Building Products industry, including product specifications, applications, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events and visit TPG facilities.
