We are seeking a full-time Accounting Onboarding Specialist who will lead our team of bookkeepers, manage client relationships, and ensure the highest standards of financial accuracy and reporting. This role requires a highly driven and detail-oriented professional who excels in maintaining structure and producing rapid, high-quality results without compromising accuracy.

The ideal candidate is high energy, experienced with web-based technologies, passionate about helping customers, and excels in communication via phone and email. Successful candidates will have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and communicate those concepts to customers with varying degrees of technical expertise. A collaborative approach is key as this role is expected to contribute ideas and initiate improvements to the overall onboarding process.

The job requires working in a fast-paced environment with clear expectations and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously. Although quick decision-making is necessary, this person must ensure that all work meets established quality standards and that any new ideas are carefully analyzed before implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a Kickstart Accounting, Inc. product/service expert
  • Provide detailed account walkthroughs and assist many new customers with implementation
  • Clearly communicate account setup requirements and expectations with customers and key stakeholders
  • Educate customers on KSA strategic framework, capabilities, and best practices to simplify adoption and align expectations
  • Record customer implementation needs, requests, and questions communicate to key KSA stakeholders
  • Ensure customers receive superior service
  • Collaborate with the sales, finance, operations, and engineering teams
  • Leverage feedback for continuous improvement to the onboarding process
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' business and operational objectives
  • Listen carefully to information provided by customers and ask clarifying questions to ensure proper use of KSA tools
  • Establish strong relationships with new customer stakeholders and deepen relationships with existing customer stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in an accounting environment, with the ability to oversee a team and ensure strict adherence to timelines and standards.
  • Technical expertise in QuickBooks Online is required, as well as proficiency in Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Demonstrated success in multi-client environments, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Candidates without accounting experience will not be considered.
