Job description

In less than a decade, ManoMano has become a key player in the home improvement and renovation sector.

Founded in France in 2013 by two French DIY enthusiasts amazed at the lack of digitalization in the market, ManoMano is now present in 6 European countries (France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, UK), federates over 5,000 sellers and now offers the widest range of DIY and gardening products online (+19 million products references).

Motivated by the prospect of improving the living environment of their customers and convinced of the importance of the home market for sustainable consumption habits, the ManoMano teams want to help write a new page in their industry, which is struggling to reform itself. ManoMano brings to a highly technical world the power of its sector expertise, combined with that of data and digital in all its dimensions, to offer our customers easy access to innovative advice, products and services 100% online.

The ambition of the Founders and, above all, of Manas & Manos? To accompany this sector transformation with a strong culture of boldness, in an ingenious and frugal organization that places people and teams at the heart of the company's development.

Your Role:

As a vital member of our Operations team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accurate tracking and distribution of funds among various stakeholders. You will support new business opportunities from a financial perspective while maintaining compliance in our Barcelona or Paris offices.

Your Mission:

Product Strategy:

  • Contribute to and execute an established product strategy for funds allocation.
  • Create a clear, actionable 6-month roadmap with defined milestones.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on company outcomes, insights, and resource efforts.
  • Benchmark against competitors and share valuable insights.
  • Engage in continuous learning of product management methodologies and implement innovative practices.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product and fellow PMs to ensure alignment and synergy.

Product Discovery:

  • Master the nuances of your feature team, understanding processes and tools thoroughly.
  • Conduct qualitative research to deeply understand user needs and pain points.
  • Identify insights and synthesize findings for impactful decision-making.

Product Delivery:

  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories aligned with team and company OKRs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks or blockers, facilitating solutions collaboratively.
  • Actively engage in retrospectives, celebrating successes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support engineering efforts by understanding technical challenges and global architecture.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, gathering feedback to inform feature evolution.
  • Measure the impact of shipped features through key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate insights for future enhancements.
  • Communicate proactively with your Head of Product regarding critical updates and challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proactive doer with a degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business. You thrive in a fast-paced start-up culture.
  • Experience in financial environments, equipped with intuition and empathy for both users and colleagues.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to navigate ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies within a product ecosystem.
  • Strong communication skills, with a data-driven mindset and a passion for customer-centric solutions.
  • Kind, thoughtful, and an achiever at heart—someone who gets things done!
  • Proven success as a PM on a feature team, adept at leveraging the Scrum process for operational excellence.
  • Fluency in English and French is essential, and you must reside in either Barcelona or Paris.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in e-commerce, entrepreneurial ventures, or familiarity with marketplace/platform models.
  • A passion for DIY and a desire to play a transformative role in the home improvement industry.

Why Join Us?

At ManoMano, you’ll be part of a vibrant, innovative team that is not just about selling products, but about revolutionizing how people interact with their living spaces. If you're ready to make a tangible impact and help shape the future of home improvement, we want to hear from you!
