PAY DETAILS: The base salary range for this job is $52,000 - $68,000.

TRAVEL DETAILS: Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & training is required. Event travel will include overnight stays for events.    

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

A Varsity Spirit Sales Operations Analyst will focus on data collection of event dates and locationsThis role is key to Varsity’s success in planning, tracking, and helping sales team achieve goals and grow participation in our all star and school championships, special events, and instructional opportunities This role will track data for the end of season (EOS) all star events as well. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Role will include date and location planning for All Star events, School events, special events/parades, camps and all star end of season “EOS data tracking  Will collaborate This role will be directly aligned and working with leadership, identifying trends in the market, and presenting ideas to sales leaders/management team. 
  • Maintain database of all Varsity and competitor events in each segment with dates, location, prices, bids etc. 
  • Will work with analytics group as needed 
  • Will coordinate with sales leadership team to make decisions  

Additional responsibilities will include bid tracking for EOS events 

  • Manage End of Season data tracking, including forecasting future months and seasons.  
  • Produce Bid reveals each Monday post Event weekends. 
  • Troubleshoot Internal Issues, including post bid-reveals and at End of Season events. 
  • Collaborate with Regional offices to ensure bids are awarded effectively and correctly. 
  • Create and monitor End of Season event information documents. 
  • Create Bid Distributions, declarations and adjust through season if needed.  
  • Create On-site End of Season Disney Open Practice and transportation schedules. 
  • Assist with End of Season Disney event schedules.  
  • Monitor and provide frequent updates on End of Season registration and bid acceptances
  • Work closely with Director of Competition Experience, other End of Season leaders and Varsity All Star Leadership.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

  • Business acumen and adaptability to take high-level direction and use judgement to find best products and services for customers 
  • Proactive planning to create strategic objectives. 
  • High-level of professionalism and business acumen  
  • Time management and organization skills to independently balance and work on multiple tasks/projects concurrently 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Advanced technical skills (i.e., Microsoft Excel in creating, maintaining, and sharing databases  
  • Technical skills [Microsoft Office, Salesforce] 
  • Strong knowledge of Varsity Spirit camps, competitions, and special events is a necessity.  

Education, Certification and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent analyst experience 
  • 1-3 years of industry experience required 
  • 1-3 years experience collecting and analyzing data 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Travel days require movement to and from location, ability to drive distances in a vehicle, physically lift luggage via air travel. Office days are largely sedentary performing computer work.  

While not participating in an event this job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. The ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required 

During events the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.
