You will become a trusted adviser on our products and services to your assigned customer portfolio reporting directly to our Senior Sales Manager Marine in Greece.

In this role, you will actively be involved in customer research, pursuit of sales leads, and visits to existing and prospective clients are key. Responsibilities include addressing complex inquiries, negotiating deals, and finalizing orders to meet revenue targets. Additionally, internal collaboration with other key functions offers the opportunity to improve expertise and apply all available tools at Hempel for delivering customized solutions to customers.
We’re looking for a great communicator
Being highly organized and able to plan optimally whilst having self-motivation and organization are a necessity. Customers are at the heart of what we do and understanding customer needs and how Hempel can fulfil them factoring in all stakeholders of the marine ecosystem by having a talent for people and personal relationships are key to this role.
You will be able to demonstrate where you have achieved targets whilst developing profitable sales in a field-based role. The position entail working with colleagues worldwide and across various multifunctional teams.
You can build and cultivate long-term relationships with our key customers and accounts. Your role will involve creating sales strategies that span various timeframes—whether it’s annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly—and you’ll have the autonomy to prioritize and schedule your customer visits to make sure we hit our targets. It’s all about making those personal connections and being the trusted partner they can rely on
What does it take to join our Hempel family?
- University degree or equivalent experience (business or technical) is valuable.
- Experience within sales and/or business development ideally in the marine segment
- Knowledge within the Marine industry would be an advantage
- Knowledge of digital tools such as Power BI, CRM, Microsoft Office Package.
- Proficiency in English and Greek as well.
- Valid driving license is required.
