Quality Assurance Manager

Index Analytics is seeking a QA Manager to support corporate quality processes and government contracts in the Baltimore Metro Area. The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the corporate quality assurance program including developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability that can be leveraged for the project products, service, and development processes.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and manage the corporate Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct Change Control Board meetings, weekly on outstanding document change requests.
- Implement document changes timely.
- Coordinate with technical writers, as appropriate.
- Report weekly on new changes, completed changes, and changes currently in process, and changes currently under review. Identify issues with getting Change Requests (CRs) completed in a timely manner.
- Create and conduct training on the document management process (how to submit changes, updating, editing, and approvals.)
- Audit the document repositories in SharePoint monthly.
- Maintain the Document Management Logs and Document Folders.
- Identify knowledge management framework process improvements.
- Work with the Project Management Office (PMO) to identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to project teams, and other appropriate staff.
- Ensures projects are managed according to the approved Project Tailoring Form maintained by the PMO.
- Works with technical writers to ensure all documentation is Section 508 compliant and high quality for delivery to the company’s clients.
- Organizes and maintains the corporate QMS library for Project Management usage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or field related to the products being developed required.
- Eight years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus.
- Experience with CMMI and ISO required

The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
