IPA Audit Liaison Support

The IPA Audit Liaison to support our active United States Air Force (USAF) client in managing their Financial Independence Audit Remediation (FIAR) activities related to Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP)/Installation Restoration Program (IRP) accounts. You will play a key role in ensuring effective and appropriate communication between all stakeholders.


Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for IPA Audit Liaison Support: $80,000 to $95,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.


IPA Audit Liaison Support Responsibilities Include:

  • Communications necessary to support financial statement audits,
  • Tracking and communicating internal communications, including maintenance and execution of audit infrastructure.
  • Provide audit walkthrough support to include drafting of meeting agenda, minutes, and event invitations throughout the course of the year for multiple virtual and face-to-face events.
  • Provide logistical and facilitation support for weekly and bi-weekly events to include drafting of meeting agenda, minutes, and event invitations.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

IPA Audit Liaison Support Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in audit, financial analysis, or environmental restoration.
  • Strong understanding of FIAR, FAM, FAR, DERP, and IRP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense or other government agencies. Preference given to candidates with direct experience with SAF/FMFA and AFCEC/CZR preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental remediation technologies and practices preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an acceptable Background Check to maintain the ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
