Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day flexible within 8am to 4pm Springfield, OR Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile Accounts: Perform detailed reconciliation of bank and credit card statements, ensuring all historical transactions are accounted for and accurate.
  • Transaction Research: Investigate and resolve discrepancies by locating and verifying past transactions as needed.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input historical vendor invoices, deposits, and other financial transactions into QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Deposit Matching: Verify and match deposits in QuickBooks Desktop to ensure completeness and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Vendor Invoice Management: Review and enter vendor invoices, ensuring all payments are logged correctly.
  • Financial Data Accuracy: Ensure all records are up-to-date and reflect accurate financial data.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably with extensive work in QuickBooks Desktop.
  • QuickBooks Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, including reconciliation, transaction matching, and general data entry.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data entry and reconciliation.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and process a large volume of historical transactions effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English and Spanish communication skills
