ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The experienced and driven Campaign Analyst (you!) will partner with our US Sales and Account Management Team to track, analyze, and optimize campaign progression to ensure long-term success for clients. This role is focused on post-sales campaign performance and delivery for Display, Video, Custom Content, Email Marketing, Lead Generation, and Social media advertising. The ideal candidate is analytical and a self-starter passionate about campaign storytelling. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, creative environment and manage multiple requests simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively work with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Account Management, Revenue Operations, Ad Operations, Ad Insights, and Integrated Marketing to analyze and monitor campaign performance
  • Responsible for all client-facing reporting on a weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly basis which includes details behind key performance highlights
  • Utilize multiple internal systems for communication, analysis, and reporting, such as JIRA, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Metabase, and Operative one
  • Expert in third-party reporting tools such as Double Click for Advertisers and Ad Verification systems (example IAS)
  • Create screenshot PowerPoint decks for Advertisers/Agencies to be able to confirm campaign activations
  • Responsible for internal pacing reporting and communication for potential revenue at risk weekly for banner media, high-impact media, gallery media, custom content page views, and lead-generation campaigns
  • Actioning on proposed optimizations in internal order management systems and Google Ad Manager with Ad Operations
  • Provide optimization/reallocation recommendations and proposals based on the advertiser's Insertion Order requirements and KPIs
  • Process and submit monthly billing to ensure campaigns are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner
  • Be an expert in The Knot Worldwide’s ad product offerings
  • Own the creation and maintenance of performance benchmarks for all product offerings
  • Identify, analyze, and problem-solve campaign issues, including trafficking errors, delivery discrepancies, and billing discrepancies
  • Create mid-year review performance decks within PowerPoint for year-long campaigns highlighting performance pacing to date
  • Create ad-hoc activation decks within PowerPoint for year-to-date and monthly campaign performance highlights
  • Create performance wrap decks within PowerPoint at the end of the campaign lifecycle to summarize the overall campaign performance
  • Support Sales and Account Management as needed by assisting with ad hoc internal reporting or Advertiser reporting requests
  • Provide recommendations to Sales and Account Management team members for future campaign executions based on the performance of past campaigns
  • Drive process improvement recommendations and ensure we stay ahead of emerging reporting trends and requirements

SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN ANALYST CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
  • 3+ years of experience in media and reporting analytics (at the publisher or agency level)
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Results-oriented drive with an independent and solid work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail, curious, and a self-starter
  • Outstanding Excel skills and PowerPoint skills are a must
  • Knowledge of Digital Media products such as Social and Banner Media is required
  • Experience in Google Ad Manager and 3rd party Ad Servers is required
  • Operative One and JIRA experience is a plus
