The Inspector Quality Control will maintain a high-quality product by accurately inspecting the product.

Our Inventory department in Belleville, IL is now looking for an Inspector Quality Control.

Key Tasks

Maintains Quality Product By

Inspecting product prior to final packaging, checking for all manufacturing defects and correct components to determine which products will pass inspection including labeling verification; inspecting reworked product to determine if designated rework was completed properly; rejecting nonconforming product; putting cushions in rework bins; confirming final package contents prior to final booking.

Manages Inventory By

Inspecting purchased items and inventoried components; accurately matching all serial numbers and bar code numbers to correspond with each other where appropriate; ordering supplies needed for routine daily operations; and segregating nonconforming materials.

Maintains Product Records By

Maintaining accurate count of all product and documenting on various forms which are distributed to appropriate personnel; using defect codes and completing re-work cards, updating work orders and product evaluation forms and authorizing release of product; following good manufacturing documentation practices.

Supports Operations By

Communicating with Inventory and Packaging teams to keep operations efficient; segregating incomplete product to prevent use; bubble testing and diagnosing product failures to allow for reporting and trend analysis; reporting atypical results to management.
