Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Engineer - GBS Engineering in Coimbatore, India.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Collect and validate different technical attributes for electronic components

  • Validate Manufacturer part number and frame complete orderable Parts

  • Co-ordinate with site/customer to find alternates of electronic components by comparing the technical mandatory/specific attributes.

  • Understand site/customer requirement and develop project templates

  • Ensures projects are in compliance with agreed policies and procedures with site.

  • Ensures data accuracy and completeness of documentation including logs, reports and distribution.

  • Manages and tracks product configuration and manufacturing/customer requirements.

  • Responsible for interface between program manager, engineering, manufacturing and materials to ensure appropriate changes are documented.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Experience in Manufacturing /Engineering industry preferably in electronics.

  • Good organization and technical communication skills to effectively monitor and convey component end-of[1]life (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN’s) to Purchasing and Engineering

  • Familiar with circuit design principles and board layout guidelines, identifying alternate parts and manufacturers.

  • Knowledge of any design software's like OrCAD, CIS, Allegro desirable.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective team building and delegation skills

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must have good interpersonal and crucial conversation skills.

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3+ years of component engineering experience.
